LiteBook provides remediation services to assist with the conversion of your existing, noncompliant documents. We provide remediation service to convert PDFs, Word Documents, PowerPoint Slides, and other formats into documents that can be utilized by assistive technologies, like screen readers.

The accessible versions of PDF, Word, and PPT documents allow users to navigate and interpret the appropriate sequence of text in the document and recognize tables, formulas, line art, and images. Some of the features include enabling complete navigation, identifying decorative images, writing alternative text descriptions, examining color contrast and font size, and enabling screen readers to read aloud.

We test PDFs for accessibility against WCAG 2.1, PAC3 PDF/UA, and with a range of assistive technologies, as appropriate and each of which inform the way a PDF should be tagged or otherwise edited for accessibility. Our test set up includes:
